Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?


You should wear business dress. Ties are not required but are recommended. Please remember that you will be meeting representatives from many different medical schools and will want to look your best.



What time should I arrive?


Check-in will begin promptly at 8am where a light breakfast will be served. The symposium will begin at 9am so please be on time.


Is lunch/breakfast provided?


Yes, a light breakfast will be served during check-in/registration and lunch will also be served in the afternoon. You are welcome to leave campus for lunch but please try to be back before the symposium resumes.


Can I register the Day of the Event?


It is recommended that you reserve your spot in advance by contacting the Princeton Review so that you will get to sit in on the Medical School session of your preference. However, if there are still spots available then you may register the morning of the event during check-in.



Am I guaranteed to get my top schools?

No. The earlier you register, the better chance you have of getting the schools of your choice.
 

When can I register for the symposium?

January 11th, 2010

 
Where should I park?

Parking garage D or any lots by the Health & Public Affairs Building.

 
Is there time to talk to the medical school representatives after the event?

Yes! We have alotted specific time at the end for the schools to table and answer any of your questions.
 

What does my admission fee cover?

Your admission fee covers a light breakfast, lunch, a raffle to win a Princeton Review or Kaplan Test Prep course (valued at ~$2,000), symposium t-shirt, gift box, networking opportunities, and extra credit for Dr. Lopez's SLS 2311C (Selected Medical Careers) class and Dr. White's MCB 3020C General Microbiology class.
